This ancient pre-Hispanic settlement is one of the 16 currently open to the public of the State of Campeche. Its oldest occupation is located near the beginning of our era during the late preclassic period (300 BC to 250 AD), although its rise dates from the late classic (550 to 700 AD) when carried out Its last monumental constructions

The nucleus of the settlement consists of five architectural groups, among which stands the Central group or A, whose square is delimited by a building located in each cardinal point: the structure I to the west, the II to the east, the III and IIIA We find them to the north and the IV is located to the south. In group B, the presence of structures IV and VII with different constructive stages is highlighted. The set C represents the buildings X to the XIII, being the XI one of the oldest of the place. Group D presents the XX-building of 2 levels beautifully ornamented
